How it works

ICT classifies weeks into profiles: 'Classic Tuesday low/high', consolidation weeks until Wednesday, news-driven Thursday reversals, etc. Knowing which profile is unfolding helps decide whether to look for continuation or reversal depending on the day.

Step-by-step rules

1. Watch where the week's extreme forms (Monday-Tuesday).
2. Relate it to the news calendar.
3. Do not expect big moves on Friday afternoon.
